Economic predictions suggest that the coronavirus crisis will cause a significant global recession. Many restaurants and retail shops have already closed their doors. Will they be able to reopen when the crisis is over? Some commentators say that businesses that have been closed for more than three months may become irrelevant to the consumer and struggle to reopen after the crisis. This article seeks to provide some guidance on helping franchisors navigate these unchartered waters.
